Partnerships + Mortgage Brokers
I plan to invest in rental income properties with a partner and we decided to use a Tenancy in Common Agreement to co-own the properties. We decided on the agreement so we can get a lower mortgage rate.
Question: Is it recommended to share this type of partnership with the mortgage broker when seeking pre-approval? If so, does the mortgage broker consider the partner a co-borrower?
