Buying real estate with my S-Corp and refinancing into my name?

Nick Shadwell
Posted

First off, hello. My name is Nick. Been a big BP listener for a while, and this is my first post.

I’ll get right to it and keep it simple. So basically I have a window and door company that is structured as an scorp. This company was started during COVID and came as the result of a failed first ever house flip attempt that was shut down in Palm Springs cause I didn’t pull permits for moving walls and extending rooms and all that fun stuff.

I’m generating 500k in revenue and the company keeps about 225k in profit and I wanna know if I can use that profit money straight from the s Corp to buy houses using the brrr method and refi them into another llc made specific for the house?

(ps, the flip was taken over by my realtor after we finally got permits a year later and the house sold for 815k last month, we bought it for 380k. I was able to save everyone’s money and float the holding costs with the company’s proceeds until we got permits😁)
