Needing Advice for Fixing Flip in a BIG way!

Andrew Mays
Posted

My wife and I are starting our investing journey. Our hope is to make this full time but we also enjoy doing the work on homes when flipping. We talked to some lenders today and they are saying they want us to have a licensed contractor in order for us to draw the money for the remodel. If we don't have a contractor then they want us to front the bill for remodel and reimburse. Issue being we have capital but not 45k worth of capital. So we are stuck on what to do. We can save loads of money doing the flips ourselves and we know how to do the work. Does anyone have any advice on this? Anyone in a similar situation?

Thanks!
