New to Investing, New Lifestyle Chagne
Hey Everyone,
I am an aspiring real estate investor looking for information and points of contact on bigger pockets. I just transitioned out of the United States Marine Corps after serving for almost 10 years. I recently purchased my first home (personal residence) and am in the middle of a rehab. With the current price trend in the housing market I am anticipating approximately 45k in equity upon completion and re appraisal. With around 15k liquid savings at this time I am interested in anyone can provide guidance on how I should structure my plan. I would like to BRRRR SFR or small multi family homes within the Cleveland Ohio area. My biggest areas of concern are Finding funding. With being new to investing I doubt a hard money lender would be interested in working with me. Additionally I do not believe I would qualify for any kind of traditional bank financing without utilizing all of my liquid cash for a down payment.
I would really appreciate any information any of you could provide. I have listened to Brandon Turner and David Greene for the last year and a half. With this new beginning and recent lifestyle change I am ready to finally move forward and work toward financial freedom. My biggest goal for this year is to purchase my first investment unit.
Thank you in advance!
