Airbnb while traveling as a nurse

Hello BP world! I am very new to the world of real estate and would like to start small with just covering my own mortgage with an Airbnb income. I'm sorry if I am following up on similar questions, but I would really appreciate any knowledge on the subject of hosting an Airbnb from your personal residence. I am currently traveling around the country as a nurse but would like to invest in a house to then use as an Airbnb while I'm out of the state. Any states that anyone recommends? Or positives/ negatives of trying to do this? I am open to all ideas and appreciate all the time you guys give! Thanks
