Socal - Recommendations for ADU Contractors

David Chan
Posted

Hey guys, I have a SFH and I am looking to build an ADU in LA. Does anyone have any recommendations? I've talked to 3 contractors so far:

1. Backyard Dwellings - They can guarantee me a 353sqft ADU for 130k. Seems to be pretty costly but its a guaranteed amount.

2.  EANO - I talked to them, they were giving me a quote of 120k but for 550 sq feet. They told me that they can't guarantee anything and it depends on the price of the materials.

3. Contractor from Thumbtack - I used a handyman to install recessed lights and he told me he could build me an ADU with permits for 75k for 550 sq feet.

Does anyone else have any advice or recommendations for contractors?

Thanks so much!
