Newbie Renovation Calculations / Mentor In my Area!

Hello Bigger Pockets Community!

I am a 25 year old Mortgage Banker currently working at a Call Center, and I have been passionate about starting a Real Estate investing business for quite some time, but have been caught in analysis paralysis (thanks Bigger Pockets podcast). I am taking a leap of faith and just going to start making offers and taking action (with little to no idea of what I'm doing.)

I have found a distressed property that needs a-lot of work, but the price seems reasonable for a fix and flip opportunity. My question is what is the best resource to determine the renovation costs? I understand how to get a decent idea of the ARV based on square footage and comps in the area, but before I sent out a contract I want to ensure I tackle the repair costs relatively accurately in my calculations. I will leave some pics below to get a feel of what is needed.

That being said, If there is anyone in the NY,Long Island area that is willing to connect, I could benefit greatly from like minded individual while I take on this journey.

Thanks! Looking forward to hanging out on here and soaking up knowledge.
