What jobs are good for experience?
Hi everyone, my name is Nate. I'm a very new and young investor with no capital or experience. I figured a job in real estate might be good for solving both of those problems! I live in a small Chicago suburb, Norridge, and I'm interested in long term rental properties and BRRRR strategy. What are some jobs other than real estate agent that be helpful for those properties/strategies? Thank you guys so much for the help!

@Nathaniel Ringelstein great to see your interest in real estate. First, I would suggest growing your foundational knowledge by learnig as much as you can about RE investing (buy and hold and BRRRR). Read as many books and to listen to as many podcasts that cover your specific niche as possible. There is always the debate that jumping straight into RE investing is the best way to learn. However, I personally disagree with this strategy, as I have seen many people get screwed over by making poor decsisions early on. If you are looking for experience without delegating/risking your own capital, see if you can intern for an investor friendly agent or wholesale company. I would message agents/wholesalers here on BP. See what value you can bring to them first, and more likely then not they will teach you as much as they know along the way. Hope this helps.
