Anyone find success using minority-owned business grants?

Hello BP Community,

I've recently learned that there are government agencies that give minority-owned, women-owned and new small businesses grants to help start their businesses. Although, I've heard for some, your chance to apply for them ends May 31, 2021.

My question is: Has anyone on this site taken advantage of these grants to start or help their business? I want to apply for this since this money is basically being given away and the idea for being prosperous investing is to use OPM (other peoples money). But I need to start setting up my real estate business before I apply for any grants.

I'm asking anyone who has used these loans: whether you fit into anyone of these groups and took advantage of these grants.
