First Deal
Looking to jump into my first REI deal, goal is to find a buy/hold property that will produce a good cash flow (eventually want to build a portfolio that will produce cash flow to replace my full-time job). I currently own a home and have built up some solid equity. Banks typically require a 20-25% down payment for an investment property, is a home equity loan a good option to finance the down payment? How do Investors get their portfolio up to 30, 50, 100 properties? Do banks still require 20% down once you are operating at that level? I can financially make it work to obtain 1 income property but stuck on how people get up to multiple properties in their portfolio.
