How do I educate myself?

Does anyone have suggestions for RE books focused on commercial property? I’m interested in owning apartment complexes but have no idea where to start. I’d also be grateful for any advice on how to find and network with local real estate experts in my area (SoCal). Thanks in advance to anyone that stumbles across this post.
