Thinking of starting a Meet-up for the DMV area

Hello Fellow BP Members,

I'm relatively new to real estate investing (haven't bought my first investment yet) and I've been looking for multiple REI meet-up groups to join, but most of the meet-ups I've found meet at night on weekdays. This is a problem for me because I work in the evening and don't get off work till 10:30pm.

So, because of this, and because the idea came up in another post, I'm thinking of starting my own meet-up with Saturday hours. I'd still like to join any local meet-ups in my area; I'm technically apart of one and know of another one that's trying to get started that I lost track of. Since I don't have experience, I'd want to join a group as well because I'd like to offer something, but I can share what I've learned and we can learn as we go along. But, people with experience investing who could join are a plus.

If I get maybe 15 people in the DMV area interested, I'll get something started.

I'd also like to actually meet-up, but with social distancing rules in this area, I understand if everyone would prefer Zoom meetings.

Anyone interested???
