My brother and I have made the decision to hold on to 3 properties that my father owned. Number 1 he lived in and has a mortgage on. He also has a decent amount of equity in it. Number 2 he owns outright but it has a bunch of issues that we will be fixing. It is also right across the street from an elementary school in an area that is rapidly growing, and the lot can be subdivided. Number 3 is undeveloped land. This began with us wanting to finish a project my father started, and has since turned into us wanting to do that as well as invest in real estate. Would love some advice on strategy. Thank you.
