What would be my best way to start?

I’m in the process of getting my real estate license in California. I’m aware I need to join a brokerage firm to activate my license. But when I decided to take this step I had in mind buying and either reselling or owning property to rent and create cash flow.

I currently have a full time job and not much money saved up but I’m determined to make something out of nothing.

Any advise on what steps I can take or what I would need to do to make my vision happen?

I’m not scared or shy away of putting in hard work.
