How to find the right sponsoring real estate broker?

Posted

I do not have a real estate license yet. I have helped my family manage their rental properties so I figure I could probably get a real estate license to earn extra money. However, this won't be a full time job as I will be in school for another field. Do you guys recommend local real estate brokers or online ones such as joinreal? What hidden fees, commission split, and etc. should I keep in mind when choosing a brokerage? My client base will probably be friends and family so probably less than 2 transactions per year.
