Choosing a Long Distance Market

I’m a new investor from the Bay Area looking for real estate markets to evaluate for long distance investing. I’d like to build up my list to 15 markets before reducing down to select the one market that I invest in.

So far my list is at:

Kansas City

Alabama

Atlanta

Tampa

Cleveland

Greenville, SC

These cities have made my list because I either know someone already with properties in these locations or because I have connections there. I’m looking for another 9 to dig into, so let me know what markets you are invested in and why it would be good for a new long distance investor!
