Best use for locum tenens housing stipend?

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone had some good ideas for making the most of a housing stipend (roughly the cost of extended stay hotel for that job location). I have considered buying a RV but that kind of asset is depreciating and you still have to pay for parking. I also considered BRRRR ing but have little to no experience with rehab, rentals, and refinancing. Not to mention changing locations every 6 to 8 months. Ideally I would like to buy a multi-family near the hospital, live in/ rehab till I leave then repeat. But then the problem of finding a down payment in more expensive housing markets becomes a problem. I would love hear your thoughts.

Thanks,

Philip Augustin CRNA
