Real estate professional

Just finished reading "Tax Strategies for the Savvy Real Estate Investor" - Interesting read, I learned you don't need real estate agent license to qualify as Real estate professional.. Does the below activities qualify towards 750 hrs requirement?1. Listening to BP podcasts to learn about real estate investing, strategies2. Reading real estate books from BP3. Looking for potential properties online and running numbers using BP calculators..4. Looking at potential properties in-person and writing offers.

I'd be very interested in this question as well. I've researched this topic and have not been able to find a solid definition of what activities qualify for the real estate professional designation.

One qualification in addition to the 750 hours is your other job, if you have one, cannot exceed the time you spend on real estate activities.
