General Contractor looking to acquire Real Estate License

Hello. I’m a GC in the Indianapolis area with a passion to get started in real estate investing (flipping homes and rentals.) I’ve recently started listening to the BP podcast and getting familiar with all BP has to offer. I’ve been thinking about getting my real estate license as a way to help me find deals and sell flipped homes. I’d like to ask 1) does getting my license make sense? 2) what is the best approach/resources to getting my license?

Thank you all!
