Should I go to college or start my full time real estate career?

Just starting to get into the real estate business. I have a very skilled mentor and have big goals, I feel an early start would be helpful. Most people around me are telling me to go to college. That real estate will be there for me in the future. I do not see myself ever wanting to work a corporate job and know I will be doing RE the rest of my life. I'd be majoring in business management in hopes of taking over my mentors company some day. Will 4 years of college impact my goals of becoming successful?

@Ryan Dunton

The only way I would advise a young person not to go to college is if they have a trade skill or W-2 job that can make them a great salary.

I say this because realistically to start in real estate you need to have money and a way to get financed.

This comes from a job, great credit and savings.

If you can achieve this without college then great.  It has been my experience that you get a higher paying job by going to college.

My two cents.
