Young Investor in the Toronto GTA Looking For Some Guidance.

Hey guys, I'm a 19 year old that is still fairly new to BP and just started researching more about real estate. I have been learning from various sources including BP podcasts (along with many other real estate/business podcasts), different forums, and Youtube videos, but I am still seeking out more things to do. I am more of a hands on person so although reading about it is a good way to start, I'd much rather get my feet wet and learn along the way. Just looking for a knowledgeable investor who is willing to give me some insight on things to get me started. I'm also open to people who are in the same boat as me who might know something that I don't.

Currently from my research, house hacking (duplex, triplex, fourplex) is something I would like to do but in  Brampton, ON it may be challenging because of prices and many other details I'm still learning about. Additionally, any other investors who know about surrounding cities feel free to message me because I am more than willing to look elsewhere.

Another question I have is would I need to get a real estate license to invest in a rental property?

If you have any other questions on things that I may have left out please feel free to let me know, thanks.
