I don't know what I don't know (Goals edition)

Just starting out on this journey and one of the things I see the most when asking how to get started is, "Write down your goals".  The problem is that I don't know what I don't know and I don't even know what goals are achievable!  Is it crazy to say I want to have 10 occupied rentals in 5 years? When choosing goals, the mantra is to choose achievable goals but I'm so green, I don't even know if a goal is achievable or not.
