Looking for advice/direction
Hello everyone,
My name is Adrian Rodriguez and I’m a 23-year old looking to gain some valuable knowledge. My brother, who’s 20, and I are looking to become full-time real estate investors some day and want to learn from those who are successful at doing so. The reason we want to pursue real estate, which I’m sure some of you can relate to, is the freedom that it can bring. A lot of people live their lives without realizing that they’re living in a box they created. We see people living like that all around us and we don’t want that to be our story. My brother just had a son so he wants to set him up for success in his future and the generations after him. As for me, I want to live a life that I’m proud of. When I’m on my death bed, I want to have no regrets. I see myself giving back to the community via donations, starting a foundation, and possibly opening up a homeless shelter in my hometown. So if you were wondering how serious we are about this, hopefully I removed all doubt from your mind.
We’re looking to focus mainly on rental property to start out as it aligns with our personality and lifestyle. Duplexes, Quadplexes, Single family homes, etc. As of right now, we don’t have much money but are doing everything we can to save up for our first purchase, most likely on a down payment for a loan. If this is your area of expertise, we’d appreciate and take all the guidance we can get.
Thanks and God Bless!
