New USA investor seeking advice

Phillip Tyrrell
Posted

Hi All, I am from Sydney and only purchased RE previously in Australia. Looking to purchase some RE in the US. Seeking recommendations for how to go about this, including:

- accountant / solicitor - for structuring and tax advice

- mortgage broker - to access loans

- buyers agent - to help find the investment property / good deals (research, pest and building inspections, etc.)

- RE agent - to act as property manager

- conveyancer / solicitor - legal work on the purchase

Sorry if I've used some Aussie instead of American terms in the above. I don't have an area to buy of know where in the US is good v's don't buy there, thus why I am seeking on the ground advice. Cheers, Phil.
