Having trouble on how start the assignment contract process

I have been doing a lot of research on wholesaling and I am ready to begin my first deal! I am very self motivated individual , I am not shy and very ambitious. I yet still am not sure where to start , I'm a bit confused about the ASSIGNMENT CONTRACT. I have seen a few out there and some shorter and simpler then others. someone help me better understand the starting process.
