So much information. HELP!

For the past couple of weeks I have been listening to BiggerPockets podcasts and reading their book "How to Invest in Real Estate." I am really interested in going into the buy and hold/rental properties. But with all the information it's a little overwhelming. Find a team, find a parter (or not), how to finance/investors, find good deals, etc. I am wanting to buy a property and start renting this year. What is the best way of going about this?
