Suggestions for starting in Real Estate
Hello! I would love some suggestions on the best way to start building income generating properties. I am currently renting with a credit score of 745 and $20,000 put aside for investing. I want to start building a portfolio of income generating properties and want to hear what worked well for others!

@Bryce Tufts - I agree with @Julio Garcia that house hacking is the way to go, especially since you are currently renting. It's an excellent opportunity to learn real estate, learn property management, and even renovations/repairs to better understand the physical/construction side of things. Ideally if you can acquire a 2-4 unit property owner-occupied that would be ideal, but starting off with a single family house is great too.
