I have $60k to invest in real estate
Hey, bigger pockets community excited to be here! I have $60k to invest in real estate and I'm wondering how can I diversify my assets. I seeking to buy and hold property and rent it out. This will be my first rental property and I want to make sure I make the most out of my $60k. I'm still deciding which market but since I'm in San Francisco Bay Area I'm leaning toward keeping it on the west coast in either CA, NV, or AZ. Also not sure if would like to invest in houses, condos, apartments etc. I'm new to all of this and still learning. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks, everyone

@Brian Lagman Welcome to the community! That is great you have saved $60k for investing.
Before deciding where and what to invest in, you should answer the reason "why" you are investing? What goals do you need to set to accomplish your why? Do you want cash flow or appreciation? Do you need the cash flow now? What is your appetite for rehab?
Depending on how you answer the questions above, they can help guide you to certain markets and areas.
Continue educating yourself either through Bigger Pockets articles, forums, and books. This may help you find a market or investments of interest.
You really can't go wrong in what you decide to invest in, it is about what interests you and gaining "enough" knowledge to start, then starting. It may be that you need to jump into an investment just to find out that is not something you are interested in.
Good luck!
