My First Deal, Putting the Pieces Together

Posted

I am new to real estate investing, I have purchased homes before. I have only ever used traditional financing methods; 30 year mortgage. I have recently started really working hard towards buying my first investment property, analyzing deals and networking. I have two very eager investors who want to give me the cash I need for this first deal and many more. I have also found the deal that could start my new career. However my investors want somthing in writing prior to lending me the money, obviously. My question is do I hire a lawyer to write up a contract for the transaction? Start an LLC with the investors? Or is there some other options for this situation that I am un aware of? I am very concerned with the smooth operation of this fist deal. I dont want to make mistakes and scare my investors away from me.
