New Investor in Orange County NY

Hello everyone, I am brand new to the site and just made the decision to invest in real estate properties in search of financial freedom. I have purchased and sold homes for my personal use but have never invested in rental or flip properties. I am looking for properties near me in Orange County NY but having difficulty locating them. I am using regular realtor sites, however should I be looking elsewhere? Any help or advice is greatly appreciated.
