Hello to all!

My name is Ammar Mehmood and I am currently a senior at Illinois State University. I want to get into real estate this year and have been heavily reading and watching anything I possibly can. Through the “How to Invest in Real Estate” book by Brandon Turner it says to network and connect with others. I was wondering if there were any investors out there in the Chicago suburbs area who needs any sort of help in which I would be more than willing to be of use. I will work for free and in fact all the compensation I need is the knowledge of real estate. I don’t care what the work is, I just want hands on experience. I know this may be difficult with the pandemic however I am willing to make it work any way possible. I look forward to hearing from the community!

@Ammar Mehmood

If you haven't already you should read the BP books The Book on Flipping Houses and The Book on Estimating Rehab costs by J. Scott. Then get connected with a great flipper in your area and try to work for them. Even if you can't find a flipper to work for, you can go out on your own to do your first flip. Building up to your first flip you can continue using BP and other places as resources to educate yourself. There's so much that can be learned on Youtube so I would use that to study too.
