BRRR Investing British Columbia Vancouver

Hi everyone,

I am a new investor looking to gain some additional knowledge on other people's stories regarding successful or unsuccessful BRRR deals that have been done in areas like Vancouver, Toronto.

My knowledge is relatively limited as I am trying to constantly learn more about the topic. I am interested in how the process would take place from obtaining financing for a down payment, typical cost and contractor vetting, getting the property reappraised, and then refinancing to resecure the original investment.

I am very interested to hear about the steps needed in an area such as mine or at least in Canada to try and help gauge what I would need to do in order to get the ball rolling.

@Tomislav Glamuzina Pretty good info on property transfer tax on the BC Gov't site - https://www2.gov.bc.ca/gov/content/taxes/property-taxes/property-transfer-tax - just part of the cost of doing business. If you're planning on BRRR'ing in the Vancouver area you'll want to educate yourself as much as possible - lots of $ involved, even out in the Fraser Valley.
