New To The Game and have some questions

Hello Biggerpockets, I have a question about taxes that i was hoping to get some help with. Thanks to anyone in advance for any information they provide.

I have found a good government website for searching the 'Property Tax' on a property but I got mislead when i opened a bill statement and saw that a State and County were included in the 'Property Tax'. Is that just the make-up of the 'Property Tax'? Are there separate bills that will be for the City(if in zone) and County taxes? In addition to the property tax? I am assuming, and forgive me, that within that 'Property Tax' is its own state and county tax?

Thanks again for any help, and i do apologize if the wording of the question is hard to understand.

Luke
