Buying in Atlanta, GA

Hello everyone,

I am a new investor and have been pre-approved for $300,000. I'm currently renting in Atlanta and want to buy a home that I can rent and live in (duplex, basement, etc). I work in Buckhead (slightly North of Atlanta), so the property must have a reasonable commute time.

I just moved to Atlanta so I don't know where I should buy. Does anyone have any recommendations on where to look? I want a nice, safe neighborhood and the property must be under $300,000.
