Transfer of permits into new name
Got a property with 4 open permits. 3 of them are expired. I was told that I need to reopen all of them and pay the fees associated with those. 3 of those permits will cost me around $100 but the alteration permit is $950. That’s the permit that is not expired yet. I heard about transferring option. Does anyone here have any experience with that?
What would be the best way, cheaper way to deal with that?
The contractor under who’s name are the permits is not reachable.
I’m San Anotnio Texas.
Thank you

Thank you for your input. For some reason I think they are avoiding that transfer option so they can make more money. Do you know what do they base the permit price on?
