I have my properties listed on Apartments.com but the best conversion was definitely on FB. I would say that is important to recognize who is your renter and then choose a platform according to that selecton.

@Dan Weber

Thank you for your input. For some reason I think they are avoiding that transfer option so they can make more money. Do you know what do they base the permit price on?

Got a property with 4 open permits. 3 of them are expired. I was told that I need to reopen all of them and pay the fees associated with those. 3 of those permits will cost me around $100 but the alteration permit is $950. That’s the permit that is not expired yet. I heard about transferring option. Does anyone here have any experience with that?

What would be the best way, cheaper way to deal with that?

The contractor under who’s name are the permits is not reachable.

I’m San Anotnio Texas.

Thank you

following! About to get my first tenant

Great Property Manager, especially for remote investing, seems like a key player. How do I identify and find someone who will be really working in my interest and what can I expect from them. It is just hard to imagine that someone will go above and beyond for 10% of 1K. Please tell me that I am wrong :)

@Michael Kiley thank you so much for taking your time and sharing your point. Sending you PM message now.

@Aaron Macken

I'm on this same page! BRRRR sounds really good but I'm a bit terrified with the rehab process and the sensitive time line.

Following your post to see what experienced people advise.

Good luck!

Just curious what are the top marketing strategies that work for you. I am aware that the plan of action might vary from market to market but I am sure there is a common thread.  Also, what strategy is completely outdated and not worth any investment at all?  Looking to bring my skillset into RE and feedback of experienced investors will be highly appreciated. #marketing #remarketing
