Adding Property Maintenance to Inspection Svcs
I manage a 17+ year commercial building and environmental inspection firm in Texas. One of the biggest factors we see during inspections, is the quality of maintenance. I've always said, we should add property maintenance to our services, especially since we inspected that building. I think we could do a better job at adding life and value to the building than the service that is there now. My problem is 3 fold. 1; I dont know anything about these contracts or pricing. 2; I'm not sure how profitable its trouble is worth . 3, the 24hr emergency maintenance call situation makes the whole thing unattractive. Am I missing an easy golden egg, or is it truly that much trouble?
We're not interested in hundreds of contracts. Just a few we choose from the clients we have.
Your input will finally scratch that itch that keeps nagging me. Thanks in advance.
