Finding Partners on BiggerPockets

It's not uncommon to hear on the podcast that the guest found a partner for their deal through BiggerPockets. For those of you that have successfully used BP to find partners for your deals, how'd you go about it? I'm curious to see what approach was effective for you while at the same time, not being too pushy / spammy. Any and all insight is appreciated. Thanks!
