Finding a mentor, newbie but willing to learn!

Jim Nguyen
Posted

Hi my name is Jim Nguyen. I am currently a fulltime chicken farmer that has a contract on the farm to sell and settle in Feb 26th 2021. I am planning to traveling cross country with the family for a year to find our next place to build a home. I have been listening to bigger pockets for about a year and have always been into real estate but never actually did anything about it. Once the sale of my farm is done with, I would like to use about $150-200k to start investing into real estate. My goal is to make $3000 a month the first year and hopefully $5000 a month by the second year. I am I am unsure of which strategies best fit my goals. I am definitely hoping it could be passive income but I am not one to shy away from hard work. I am a person who loves conversation, might be hard headed at times, but over all I love learning and am basically a blank slate that only understands how to get a house built and how to fix things in the house. If anyone is willing to help in anyways that would be much appreciated!
