Bidding... It was exciting!

I worked my first "Highest and Best" showing today and it was exciting!

I found it super interesting looking at the opportunity through the eyes of different investors. How each chooses to look at it, and learning what they would do with it. It was fun.

Is it because I am new that made it awesome? or do we like bidding on houses?? Maybe First come First serve instead?

Thoughts?

I'm glad you liked it, lol. As a buyer, I always cringe when they call for "highest and best." We've seen a lot of shenanigans during this process. And, really, "best", which is totally subjective, is more important than "highest." Case in point, on several occasions we've been the highest offer and coming in with hard money so we can close quickly, but get beat out by the "best" offer, which is almost always cash - even if it's less than our offer. Can't say I blame them...I'd probably take cash, too, because it's more of a sure thing. But it's frustrating to get beat out!
