Wholesale Beginner in California

Hello, my name is Nic.
Brand new to wholesale. I have been researching this subject quite extensively the past several days and I have learned quite a bit from Youtube. You know the usual sob story, I want to do something with my life. Graduated with a CrJ degree and havent been able to do anything with it, its hard to get a job but Tired of using that as an excuse. Told someone I was interested in Whole sale and real estate and someone suggested I check out BP so here I am! 
My question may get quite lengthy and I understand this info may be available on the internet but I have searched and it can be quite difficult to get accurate information regarding wholesale. 
California Wholesalers  Is there anything specific I need to know again specific to California legislature i need to know regarding real estate before jumping into the fray? For example, Licensing or other credentials that one must obtain? Just to find experienced wholesalers for assistance on this matter.
I greatly appreciate the help and I am looking forward to getting involved in this type of business.
