How to buy your first property with little to no job history ?

I recently moved back to San Antonio, TX after serving one term in the Army. My wife and I are looking into buying a single family home and want to house hack by renting out a few rooms to minimize the mortgage. My only problem is that i started at a part time job in mid October and am going to attend school in January so I have almost no job history with the new part time job. The Military gave me my last paycheck on the first of November but will start giving me housing allowance for attending school every semester (they don’t give me allowance in the summer or between semesters). My credit score is roughly at the 730 range, and we can put down a 3%-5% down payment for anything below 200k. Is there any way we can purchase our first property or do we just have to wait?

Thanks y’all!
