Finding an Investing Partner

I'm a new real estate investor in Indiana but don't have enough money yet for my own down-payment on an investment property. What are some suggestions for finding a partner? I know the Midwest is a good area for long distance investors but I'm not sure how to network and find people interested in long distance investing. Does anyone have any suggestions on where to start building a network for potential partners?

Start connecting with people here on BP and develop relationships that ways. If you don't have money yet, then typically your partner will be more of a i fund you Run the operation. Until you have a track record of investing out of state and have the systems and processes in place to prove you can do it, it may be tricky finding a partner...... UNLESS you develop honest, meaningful relationships with people and prove to them what you are capable of and what your plan is through and through. But id start networking on BP like I said, join any and all FB groups that have people who invest in the market your looking at and do the same networking. Go to local meetups, join your local REIA, anything you can do to put you in a room of people with a mind full of real estate will be your best bet to get started. Networking and building relationships is the name of the game!
