Buy a rental or touch up my own property
Hello BP community I have a pretty random question!
I recently bought my first home not to long ago with the plan of living in it for about 3 years then either preferably renting or selling it. It's not a distressed property but does need some TLC mainly lawn care wise and basic updates. Although recently I think I got REI fever and been looking to get a rental property and start my investing career lol. I've been doing research for a while so it's not a new idea to me!
So my dilemma is, should I just wait it out and update my home ASAP and look for rentals after or put my main focus on building my portfolio and slowly but surely touch up my place? Sadly I’m not rich enough to do both at the same time.
