Long Island wholesaling - town of Brookhaven

I just bought my first home at the age of 26 in the town of Brookhaven. During the purchasing process, I found that I was very able in getting my own team together for purchasing the house, reviewing all at every step of the way and overall just understanding the process of my real estate transaction.

Saying that, I loved it! I couldn’t wait to get out of bed in the morning everyday(this was during the quarantine so I had spare time) to start reaching out to real estate professionals regarding houses on the market. Whether they were foreclosures, pre-forclosures, fixer uppers or move in ready homes, I was looking at them all. I had a realtor I was working with, but being that I had a lot of spare time I did a lot of my own leg work.

The next venture I want to pursue is to buy and flip houses. Unfortunately I don’t have the funds for this. I figured I’d start off a different way in the real estate industry and came across the method of wholesaling.

I’m posting this because I want to start connecting to more professionals in my area and learn as much as I can about real estate wholesaling so I can get my funds up to start flipping my own houses.

On a side note, I work in the construction industry(under a construction manager) and all phases of construction in houses is not foreign to me and I’ve learned a lot about that throughout the past few years I’ve been in the construction field.
