Aspiring San Diego Flipper

Joshua Vallejos
Posted

Hey everyone!

I'm in the planning stage to start flipping soon, I have a partner, both of us are Marine vets, and I'm wondering if there are any experienced flippers/REI's that wouldn't mind giving a young lad some advice. Also looking for any recommendation on hard money lenders, investor-friendly agents, wholesalers, and contractors. If there is anything I can do to help for your time I'm all ears, I have two good working hands and legs for FREE I'm always open to learning and giving back !!! I'm leaning more towards an off-market deal so I will be starting to door-knocking and cold calling and I'm honestly willing to do anything to get a good deal. I'm also open to network even if you have nothing on flipping, love talking to other investors who have a similar mindset and extremely passionate about this journey.

Thanks for reading I appreciate the time!

- Josh

Hey @Joshua Vallejos! It sounds like you are on the right track. Off market deals, though harder to find, can offer greater returns when it comes to flipping. It will definitely be grind at first with lots of growing pains, but if you can get to the other side it is worth it. One thing that I would mention is that flipping can be a great way to generate capital but buy and hold investing is the best way to set yourself up in the future IMO. The good thing is both those models can complement each other.
