Should I put my property into a LLC?

This is a very common question that we get and I want to start a thread that I can refer people back to in the future. I have 2 properties in my personal name and another 19 properties in 3 separate LLC's. LLC's make sense in some scenarios but it is not a "sliver bullet". I'd like to hear what other people are thinking.

•What are the benefits of holding property in an LLC?

•What are the downsides to holding property in an LLC?

•How does an LLC impact your lending options?

•How does an LLC impact your insurance policy?

•When do YOU think it makes sense to hold property in an LLC vs individual?

Let’s discuss!
