Wholesale in Illinois

I recently discovered that wholesaling in Illinois is almost exclusively for licensed realtors. Is there anyone out there who is a licensed realtor in Illinois that is familiar with wholesaling? I found a home that fits the criteria and left a note but that's as far as my expertise goes.
