Roth for Buying homes, Do you use an LLC?

Does anyone use their Self Directed Roth for buying properties? Did you create a LLC in that Roth? What are the benefits of LLC vs. No LLC?

I am debating between two different companies to create and roll all our money into one Roth that can invest. One (Directed IRA) uses LLC to have checking account control. The other (THe Equity Trust) just has a pay portal, so no LLC is needed for checking control. I would love to hear what others do and if these have good reviews of these two companies?
