BRRRR strategy in Edmonton? Does it work?

Raj Rajakumar

Hey Everyone! Brand new to real estate investing and wanting to get my feet wet. I'm an investor on a deal in ON but I want to get into the cash flow side. I've been eyeing Edmonton, Canada and wanted to know what others have experienced? Is it a good rental market? I know the province is heavily oil & gas related to economy. Just wanted to network and meet others where I can discuss.

Doing BRRRR in Edmonton does work. Getting a good local team in place will be critical for success. Fix and flip (to sell) does not work the best right now as we're at the beginning to middle of a slump. However, if you are planning to hold onto it long term, that is a good strategy.
